Actor, fitness enthusiast and martial artist, Samuel Ericsson shares what it’s like being a Secret Agent in The Real Target!
Q: Please tell us about your background!
A: My name is Samuel Ericsson, I’m originally from South Korea, but I’m adopted and live in Sweden. My martial arts background is Taekwondo, I’ve trained from the age of seven. I’m also an award winning fitness athlete. I feature in promo videos/commercials for big companies and am often a guest speaker at events.
Alongside acting as a Secret Agent in The Real Target, I’m now stepping into the MMA industry, so stay tuned!
Q: How did you get involved in The Real Target as a Secret Agent?
A: I got involved thanks to my workout videos. I became recognised worldwide after my workout videos went viral, today they have over 20 million views combined and that’s how I got in contact with David and Yolanda for the first time!

Q: What’s it like training with Master Wong?
A: It’s very different from what I’m used to, training for movies and training for fighting, is really not the same.

Q: Are you in any other films or TV shows? Tell us more!
A: Yeah, in Sweden I have my own TV-show, “How do you train?”. The show’s purpose is to educate and inspire people to train and get into the gym or outside, or wherever; get the motivation to start being active.
The first episodes are basic but then later in the series it gets more and more advanced so even athletes on a higher level can watch them and learn.
Q: How often do you train?
A: I work out 5-6 times a week, sometimes shorter and more intense workouts and sometimes longer and more mixed up workouts. It depends on my mood, what I’m preparing for, and my situation!
Q: What’s your favourite experience so far in The Real Target?
A: It’s great to meet and work with such talented and experienced people in the movie industry.
It’s an honor for me to be cast in this movie, all the way from Sweden, and also playing a key role in the movie as ‘Agent Brown’. I promise, this movie will blow your mind!
